Company Unveils New Line of Apparel, Boots and Headwear
BareBones WorkWear®, a popular, locally-owned retail chain, is introducing a new line of clothing, boots and headwear online and at all of its 10 locations.
CEO/Founder, Stu Nelson, based in Sacramento, says the product launch is the result of long-term planning and collaboration
“We carry a lot of high-quality brands and began to dream of building our own line of premium products,” he explains. “Every time we dabbled with creating a few branded items, they flew off our shelves. That got us thinking.”
Nelson and his partner, Mason Moore, began working with a design/marketing team to develop concepts, spending two years in consultations. “Once in a while, I would wear a few of the samples myself,” Moore laughs. “I am not afraid of a little informal research. As a model, I am not perfect, but the stuff always gets great reviews!”
Included in the line are premium tees with assorted illustrations including the company’s cheeky slogan: “No Crack We Can’t CoverTM.” Some of the branded headwear includes the slogan while others feature the unique BareBones WorkWear® logo in a variety of patterns and fabrics.
Nelson says he is also proud of his new branded footwear. “We are known for the quality of our work boots and, between us, my partner and I have 40 years’ worth of footwear knowledge. We knew exactly what we wanted and these new boots have met our toughest standards.” “Plus, we always field test the workboots in harsh environments.”
The company plans to roll out selected items now and feature more in both its stores and website in the coming weeks.
“To say we are stoked is an understatement,” says Nelson. “We are extremely pleased with the responses from our customers. It’s incredibly gratifying.”
